Guidelines The purpose of the daily congregate meal program at each senior center is to provide older adults with the opportunity to enjoy a nutritious meal in the company of others in order to promote good health and continued independence. Some guidelines include:
Adults age 60+ (and younger spouses) may make a contribution up to the full cost of the meal. Individuals under 60 may purchase a meal for $5.
In addition to nutritious meals, participants have access to nutrition and health education, health screenings, and other educational and social opportunities.
Reservations are required at least 2 business days in advance at all locations.
Please contact your local senior center for additional information about menus, meal cost, and programs. Each participant must complete a participant information form.
Gift Certificates for Meals
Participants, family, and friends may purchase meals at the Department of Aging's on-line store.
