The Fleet Services Department is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of the county’s fleet of 990 vehicles and equipment. The department also manages the county’s fuel inventory and tracks all fuel dispensed into county vehicles.
County-owned vehicles include cars and light trucks, cruisers, heavy-duty trucks, construction and off-road equipment, fire apparatus, transit buses, and a wide range of specialty equipment.
Fleet Services operates in the following 3 facilities:
Light Truck and Car shop, Heavy Equipment and Truck shop, and Fire Apparatus shop - 331 Montevue Lane
Light vehicle shop - 110 Airport Drive - Law Enforcement Center
TransIt Bus Maintenance Facility - 1040 Rocky Spring Road
