The Frederick County Rural Historic Preservation Grant Program helps fund rehabilitation, restoration, and preservation of historic properties located in the unincorporated areas of the county. Grants from the program are designed to preserve, protect, and enhance rural historic properties.
Eligible applicants are encouraged to attend a workshop which includes detailed information and how to apply. Workshops are particularly helpful for first time applications. Please be sure to register below.
Prior to the virtual workshops, registrants will receive an email including the virtual Microsoft Teams login information.
If you are unable to attend a workshop, please reach out to staff with questions.

Grant Cycle: Open September 1, 2025 until 11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2025
