Signs and Signals
The County Office of Highway Operations will replace and road signs (stop, curve, chevrons, etc.) and road name signs that are located along a County road.
Please report any missing stop signs or malfunctioning signals immediately to the Office of Highway Operations. We can be reached at 301-600-1564.
To report a missing stop sign or malfunctioning signal after hours, please contact Central Communications' non-emergency number at 301-600-1603.
The Frederick County Office of Highway Operations maintains the following signals:
- Ballenger Creek Pike & Tuscarora High School entrance
- Corporate Drive & New Design Road
- Crestwood Boulevard & Corporate Drive
- Crestwood Boulevard & New Design Road
- Crestwood Boulevard & Westview Drive
- Old National Pike & Boyers Mill Road
- Old National Pike & Morning Gate Lane
- Old National Pike & Mussetter Road
- Opossumtown Pike & Hayward Road
- Spectrum Drive & FSK Mall Entrance
- Spectrum Drive & Holiday Drive
- Spectrum Drive & Lowes Lane
- Industry Lane & Guilford Drive
- Guilford Drive & Wal-Mart East Access

Any stop signs that are located at an intersection with a State road should be reported to the
Maryland State Highway Administration at 301-624-8250.
