Additionally:
Due to the Labor Day holiday, downtown Frederick residents who normally have recycling pick up on Fridays, will have their collection shifted to Saturday (9/11) next week. Because this is also the date of the annual In the Street festival, which affects traffic through street closures, recycling collection for the downtown Frederick are will begin early—4am—on Saturday. Residents are advised to have their carts in place ahead of this early start time. It is also recommended that carts be put away before festival activities begin.
