The Frederick County Division of Human Resources is responsible for the administration of employee benefits, recruitment and selection, wage and salary administration, Affirmative Action, payroll processing, training, employee counseling and assistance, and support to the Board of County Commissioners and management.

The mission of the Division is to provide the above services in a fair and equitable manner and to provide accurate, efficient, and timely services to County employees and County agencies, all in accordance with policies and procedures as adopted by the Board of County Commissioners.
