Goals
- This committee was formerly the Affordability Committee.
- This committee's goal is to ensure that everyone in Fredrick County is covered by comprehensive affordable public or private health insurance.
- Our work involves legislative and advocacy activities regarding issues such as Medicaid expansion, insurance parity, and meeting the needs of the uninsured, as well as activities related to community education and enrollment in public insurance plans.
