Programs such as Medical Assistance for Families, Pregnant Woman and Children, WIC and the Non-English Speaking Services Program are located at the Health Department to assist the citizens of Frederick County.

WIC is a federally funded program that provides healthy foods and nutrition counseling to pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children under age five.
