Programs such as Medical Assistance for Families, Pregnant Woman and Children, WIC and the Non-English Speaking Services Program are located at the Health Department to assist the citizens of Frederick County. 

The Health Care Connection is your link to information regarding Medical Assistance and State Health Insurance programs, including Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP), MCHP for Pregnant Women, Medical Assistance for Families (MA4F), Primary Adult Care (PAC), Maryland Health Insurance Plan (MHIP), and Maryland Health Insurance Partnership for small businesses (HIP)

WIC is a federally funded program that provides healthy foods and nutrition counseling to pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children under age five.

The Non-English Speaking Services Program assures equal access to health department services for those in the Frederick community with limited English proficiency.
