The Frederick County School Health Program's mission is to promote optimal health among students and staff by preventing, identifying, intervening and remediating health problems that occur.
Purpose
The purpose of the School Health Program is to:
- Promote healthy lifestyles
- Prevent injuries and illnesses
- Assist students that have health needs
- Assist students with access to primary health care
- Educate students, staff, and the community regarding health needs
