Community Health Nurse
Full time registered nurse position in the Adult Evaluation Review Services Program, providing community-based evaluations of the elderly/disabled. Requires Bachelor's in nursing. Note: Two years experience as a registered nurse may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree. All applicants must have current Maryland R.N. licensure. Pay range:$19.32 - $22.34/hour. Alcohol / Drug Counselor or Alcohol / Drug Counselor Provisional
Full-time position to assess and treat adults in an outpatient setting using individual, group, and family treatment modalities.  This position will also be responsible for maintaining a caseload of 40 clients, developing and updating clinical treatment plans, and actively working with an interdisciplinary team.  This position will also communicate with other professional agencies regarding referrals, case management, and other clinical matters as needed.  This position is contractual with no fringe benefits.  Some evening hours required.  Supervision toward licensure is available.  Resumes accepted until position is filled.  Email resume to .  EOE

Community Organized Recovery Efforts (CORE)
This is an opportunity to be part of a new, cutting edge model working with individuals recovering from substance abuse disorders.  Join an innovative program known as CORE, a Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC), a national trend in working with people seeking or in recovery.  CORE is seeking volunteers to work in the following areas:

  • Recovery Coach - Persons with experience and knowledge of addictions guiding and mentoring people seeking or active in recovery
  • Telephone Recovery Support - Making follow-up phone contacts with participants of the ROSC program to offer support and provide information on ROSC functions
  • Recovery Center Support - Participate in running recovery center activities, classes, groups, social functions, and providing administrative support
  • Special Events - Participate in planning and working at special events for CORE participants
