Adult Programs

Fountain Rock Park can accommodate a number of adult groups. Programs available for adult groups include:

A sit-down, education-based program inside the Nature Center
The 1.5 hour long program can be on a variety of topics, including animals, birds, gardening, or the park staff can work with the group to develop a program based on their interests and needs.

A guided tour of the park grounds
For this hour-long program, a member of the park staff will lead the group on a guided tour of the park.  History of the park as well as its many buildings, programs and amenities will be discussed.

A guided tour plus use of the pavilion
This is the same tour as above, with free reservation at the pavilion for a picnic meal provided by the group.

Adult Volunteer Opportunities
Fountain Rock welcomes group or individual adult volunteers.  Currently, our long-standing volunteer opportunity, Weed Warriors, occurs on a “walk-in” basis the first Monday of the month, 10-am-2pm (anytime within that window).  Businesses, community groups or individuals that desire other or further opportunities are welcome to contact the park directly at 301-600-4460.
