The Nature Center

Overview
Nature Center
The building that houses the Nature Center was originally built around 1970, and is now home to many informational and interactive displays, collections of natural objects and artifacts, as well as an extensive library and play areas with discovery boxes for children.

We have many live animals that reside in the Nature Center, including Madagascar hissing cockroaches, Vietnamese walking sticks, an observation honey bee hive, bearded dragons, snakes, tarantulas, toads, frogs, and turtles.

The Nature Center is open to the public on weekends, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturdays and 1:00 - 4:00 pm on Sundays. The Nature Center is closed on holidays and holiday weekends. Nature Center Hours/Closings
