The Frederick County Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) offers confidential, face-to-face counseling assistance for those on Medicare. Included in the SHIP program is Medicare education, help in understanding and applying for Medicare benefits, assistance in filing Medicare appeals and help with billing problems, as well as Medicare D counseling.

Our Staff
Trained staff is available to help Medicare beneficiaries, family members and caregivers understand Medicare benefits, bills and Medicare rights.
