Why Should I Breastfeed My Baby?
Breastfeeding gives your baby the best start. It is the normal way to feed a baby and it has many benefits for both mom and baby. Doctors recommend babies be breastfed for at least the whole first year.

If you have any questions or concerns about breastfeeding, before or after your baby arrives, please call us.

Best for Mom
  • Body contact while nursing helps with bonding
  • Costs less
  • Lose weight quicker
  • Lower risk of certain cancers
  • Satisfaction in doing something for your baby no one else can
  • Slows bleeding after delivery

Best for Baby
  • Breast milk changes nutritionally to meet baby’s growing needs
  • Breast milk helps protect babies from illness
  • Breastfed babies are sick less than artificially fed babies
  • Easy to digest
