Curbside Collection Schedule
Curbside recycling operates on a biweekly schedule. Printed recycling calendars are mailed each year in December. If you have a smartphone or tablet computer, you can access your calendar any time, any place by downloading our new, free My-Waste App to get recycling reminders, disposal information and more- right at your fingertips!

2013 Recycling Calendar
To read our recycling calendar, you just need to know which week and day your street recycles. This information does not change from year to year. If you do not know your week and day, visit www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/AtaGlance and follow these steps:

  1. Click the button for "Info At A Glance", then agree to the site terms.
  2. Enter the street address in the search bar at the top of the page.
  3. Right below the search box, click on the words “Recycle Calendar” next to the recycling symbol.
  4. When the (small) box with your calendar pops open, click the "print/pdf" button to view or download a full-size version.

Please Note: The database and information provided is a general guide for residential, single family homes only. The County does not currently provide recycling collection service for businesses or multi-family housing units (such as apartments or condominiums).

Recycling carts should be set out by 6 am of your designated collection day (many residents place their carts out the evening prior to collection.) Carts should be placed within 6 feet of the road and at least 4 feet away from possible obstructions (such as trash cans, mailboxes, etc.) If your recyclables were not picked up or if you have other curbside service issues, please call your recycling collector—Allied Waste Services—at 301-694-6498, or send email to: .
