Recycling Works In Frederick County!

Solid waste disposal is not a fixed cost but a manageable expense.

Did you know that the tipping fee to dispose of recyclable materials is only $25 per ton? When compared to the tipping fee of $76 per ton for regular waste, a substantial cost reduction for business waste management can be attained by recycling as much as possible.

Many of your coworkers, employees, customers and clients already participate in Frederick County’s residential recycling program...they can bring those same good habits to work!

Businesses have options for becoming more sustainable by reducing waste, reusing resources and recycling materials.  The Frederick County Office of Recycling can assist in establishing or expanding existing waste reduction and recycling programs.
