Distinguished Service Award
The Frederick County Commission on Disabilities (FCCOD) recognizes individuals who have shown outstanding efforts in the community for:

• Promoting disability awareness in the local community.
• Assisting with the compliance & enforcement of the Americans with Disabilities Act in the local community.
• Providing services to individuals with disabilities.
• Identifying the needs of the individuals with disabilities.

The FCCOD accepts nominations throughout the year and presents awards biannually (typically in October and April). The distinguished recipient is presented the award during a banquet or a board of county commissioners' meeting. If you know of an individual or group that is deserving of this award, please fill out a nomination form.
