Transportation & Travel in Early Maryland

These materials are provided to enhance curriculum application in Social Studies, Science and Language Arts studies of students grades K-8.*Each set of materials is designed to complement a themed immersion experience tour of Rose Hill Manor Park & Museums. How did it get here?
Students will learn about the movement of goods and the development of transportation systems in early Maryland. Students are encouraged to explore the way people and goods moved to and from Frederick while examining change over time and the influence of economic wants in the development and use of resources.
