Hazardous wastes are not accepted in Frederick County's recycling program, but should be kept out of the environment—and our landfill.  From medicines to rechargeable batteries, there is no charge to drop off residential hazardous materials at our special semiannual events.  More info available on our website:  www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/HazWaste
