Volunteers hold the keys to unlocking history

General Expectations of all Volunteers
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start of program/assignment
  • Help with setup and cleanup
  • Notify staff promptly if you are unable to meet scheduled commitment to allow time for finding a substitute
  • Once you have completed and submitted your application you will be contacted for an interview.
  • Participate in on-site training - All volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation
  • Provide ideas and suggestions for improvement of volunteer program
  • Represent the Division of Parks & Recreation and Rose Hill Manor Park & Museums in a warm and professional manner
  • Sign in upon arrival and sign out before departure
