Program Description
*Awesome Animals
Teaches students the similarities and differences of several animals, such as mammals, birds, amphibians, insects, arachnids, and reptiles. They are encouraged to ask questions and make observations through comparison.
- Program Length: 1 1/2 hours
- Class Size: 10 - 75 students
- Chaperones Required: One chaperone per 15 students
- This class meets the following Maryland curriculum standards: SC.K00.10. 01, 02, 03, 05, 06; SC.K00.30.01, 02, 03, 04; SC.K00.60.01
*In-School Presentations
This program is available as an
in-school presentation. These include: live animal presentations and
interactive nature activities. The program fee will include the cost of
the program plus a $50 transportation fee.
