*Communities
teaches students how organisms interact with each other within a community. The role of producers, consumers, and decomposers within a food chain is discussed. Use of renewable and nonrenewable natural resources is an important focus of this program.

  • Program Length: 1 1/2 hours
  • Class Size: 10 - 75 students
  • Chaperones Required: One chaperone per 15 students
  • This class meet the following Maryland curriculum standards: SC.500.10.02; SC.500.30.05, 06, 07; SC.500.60.01, 02

*In-School Presentations
This program is available as an in-school presentation. These include: live animal presentations and interactive nature activities. The program fee will include the cost of the program plus a $50 transportation fee.
