There are several ways that you can make a difference in the lives of older adults in Frederick County! Frederick County Department of Aging can accept the following types of donations:

Monetary Needs

• Monetary donations to support
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Congregate Meal Program
  • Transportation Program
• Monetary donations to support the Department’s emergency fund (used to help older adults through a difficult financial period
  • Durable medical equipment
  • Utility bills
  • Prescriptions and other necessities

Monetary donations should be made payable to Frederick County Department of Aging and mailed to Frederick County Department of Aging, 1440 Taney Ave.  Frederick, MD 21702.  Please indicate on the memo line which program you wish to support.  For more information please call 301-600-1605.

• Program Supplies (board games, Wii games, colored copy paper, etc.)
• Program Equipment (tables, chairs, etc.)
