Synergies Committee
The mission of the Synergies Committee is to research and identify savings and efficiencies that can be achieved by working cooperatively with other governmental entities.  The committee has identified savings and efficiencies that have been realized prior to 2010, and it evaluates and recommends efficiencies and savings that the participating governments can work together to achieve in the future.

Synergies CommitteeThe committee submitted a Final Report for 2011 of the Synergies Committee on February 10, 2012, which summarized the substantial savings already achieved through cooperative activities and operations in Frederick County, and also projected savings that may be achieved with future endeavors.

The principal governmental entities participating in the Synergies Committee are The City of Frederick, Frederick Community College, Frederick County Government and Frederick County Public Schools. Other municipalities have participated and are welcome to continue to unite with these entities in sharing opportunities for greater savings and efficiencies on behalf of the citizens of Frederick County.
