Date:November 1989
Case Number: 89-23413
On Friday, November 10, 1989, skeletal remains were found on Right Hand Fork Road at the Watershed in Frederick. The remains appear to be that of male, approximately 25 to 40 years of age, small to medium build. The estimated time of death was between November of 1988 and July of 1989. The individual sustained a broken nose approximately one year before his death.
Recently, D/Sgt. Donald C. Stahl, a Forensic Artist with Charles County Sheriff's Office, completed a recreation of the face. Forensic Reconstruction is building a face on a skull to see what the owner of the skull looked like in life. Many police departments use the method to trace the identity of unidentified remains.

Victim: Alexander Pace Folger
Description: Caucasian/Male/22 years of age
Date: August 22, 1993
Case Number: 93-26126
On Sunday, August 22, 1993 at 6:10 am, deputies responded to the
location of Old Frederick Road south of Old Mill Road in Rocky Ridge and
found Mr. Folger deceased in the roadway. It appeared that he was
struck by a vehicle while walking along the southbound lane of Old
Frederick Road.
Investigation revealed that Mr. Folger left a
party at a house in the 13000 block of Old Frederick Road sometime after
3:00 am and walked about a ¼ mile south down Old Frederick Road when he
was struck from behind by a red passenger vehicle. A newspaper carrier
discovered Mr. Folger’s body at 5:26 am. Mr. Folger died of severe head
and chest injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Victim: Joshua Wayne Crawford
Description:Caucasian/Male/21 years of age
Date:July 2, 2003
Case Number: 03-104309
On
Wednesday, July 2, 2003, Joshua Wayne Crawford was found murdered in
his apartment at 6949 Exeter Court at Kingsbrook Apartments in
Frederick. Mr. Crawford was found bound with duct tape when deputies
responded at 12:42 pm. The cause of death was ruled asphyxiation.
The
crime appeared to be victim specific and upon investigation, it was
determined that a Peavey 6 String Predator Electric Guitar with a hunter
green base, chrome, a black neck and whammy bar was missing from the
apartment.
