Purpose
To increase access to important human services provided by local non-profit human service agencies through a grant application, review and funding-award process by Frederick County Government
The FY 11 GHS Application Process is Underway!
Frederick County Citizens Services Division is now accepting applications for Fiscal Year 2011 funding through the Grants for Human Services Program. Only programs currently receiving funding in FY 2010 may be proposed for an amount equal to or less than the program’s FY 2010 award amount. No new programs, services, or agencies will be considered for GHS funding in FY 2011. All final funding decisions will be made by the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Proposals will be reviewed by a staff review panel.
The deadline for submission is Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. Applications must be received (in hand) by the Citizens Services Division by 4 p.m. on November 19, 2009. If you choose to mail the application, do so early enough to ensure the application is in Citizen Services Division's possession by 4pm on November 19, 2009. We will not accept postmarks as proof of meeting our delivery deadline. Any application received/ delivered to the Citizens Services Division after 4 p.m. on November 19, 2009 will not be reviewed/considered by the GHS Review Panel.

Information for FY 10 GHS Awardees
The FY 10 Grants for Human Services Program awards for the period of July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010 have been made. Please refer to the information below for report deadlines. One copy of each report should be received by the Citizens Services Division, 520 North Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701 on or before the deadline date.
January 29, 2010 Six Month Program Assessment Report Due
August 13, 2010 Twelve Month Program Assessment Report AND
Annual Financial Report Due
