Welcome to the Seasonal Flu Page

What You Need To Know
  • FREE flu vaccine available for children 6 months to 17 years of age.
  • The Health Department WILL NOT have available flu vaccine for adults 18 years of age and older.
An appointment is required no walk ins.

Important Clinic Information:
  • All children will be required to wait a 15 minute observation period after receiving vaccination.
  • Please be advised Flu Mist cannot be administered within 28 days of having receiving a Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) or Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine.
  • If a parent or guardian will not be bringing their child, they must send a written note giving the individual bringing the child authorization to have the child vaccinated
  • A child  younger than 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.

The Health Department encourages individuals 18 years of age and older to contact their Healthcare Provider for a flu vaccine or visit one of the many community locations available to obtain a flu vaccine such as pharmacies and grocery stores.
