The rising cost of prescription drugs, coupled with the growing number of uninsured and underinsured, has created a financial challenge for people of all ages.
Commissioner Gardner proposed the prescription discount card program, which offers an average savings of 20% off retail prices of commonly prescribed prescription drugs, at no cost to the consumer.
Frederick County residents may call 301-600-6699 to have a card mailed to them.
