The National Association of Counties’ Live Healthy initiative includes the free discount prescription program to residents of participating counties. Frederick County residents are eligible. The program also includes low-cost health and dental discount programs.
By presenting the free discount card, county residents can lower the cost of prescriptions even to people with insurance.
Learn more and sign up for the low-cost health and dental benefits by visiting www.NACoHealth.org.
This affordable health care program includes discounted rates on a wide range of dental procedures and services, as well as vision care and equipment, hearing aids and screenings, lab work, diabetes supplies and more.
Residents can participate in the health program, the dental program, or both. The discount programs are not insurance. Rather, they offer reduced costs for services and supplies.
These programs provide residents with immediate access to dental providers with no waiting periods. Participants will save on average between 15% - 50% on most dental procedures from a national network of general dentists and specialists. Frederick County Government is able to share these programs with residents as a member of the National Association of Counties.
The health and dental discounts may be used by all county residents, regardless of age, income or existing health coverage.
