The Office of Project Management (OPM) provides the project management of services that assist in executing Frederick County's capital budgeting construction program that has an estimated annual project value of $15 - 20 million.

Management of a project begins with the initial planning and budgeting and continues through the design phase, construction phase, and 1 year post-occupancy period.

Responsibilities



This office is responsible for the coordination of all project related activities with the using agencies, design consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other interested county departments. Additional services provided by this office include:

  • Establish and maintain standard specifications and design guidelines for the execution of Capital Improvement Projects (CIP).
