Electrical Board

Purpose


The Electrical Board shall advise the County Executive and aid in the supervision and enforcement of any rule or regulation adopted pursuant to the authority of Chapter 317 of the Laws of Maryland 1976, and the Board shall act as an appeals board concerning matters arising under the Electrical Code and any licensing provisions, and shall perform such other related functions as delegated from time to time by the County Executive. This board also reviews applicants for the master electrician examination to make sure they meet the requirements to take the examination and grade the examinations after the exam in given.

Electrical Board Meetings and Hearings


The Board meets at such times as may be necessary, but at least 4 times a year in relationship to the master electricians' examination.
