Out of the abundance of caution, the Frederick County Senior Services Division has temporarily closed all senior centers (Brunswick, Emmitsburg, Frederick, & Urbana) to the public until further notice.
Spring Quarter Activities Canceled
Frederick County Senior Services 50+ Community Centers have canceled all scheduled classes, activities, day trips, and events for the Spring Quarter. In the event 50+ Community Centers reopen at any time during the spring quarter, fitness classes, activities, and other events will resume as pay as you go/drop-in sessions for that quarter.
The Meals on Wheels program will continue to deliver two meals a day to homebound adults, Monday through Friday, or adults of any age with a chronic health condition or disability who meet program eligibility guidelines and live in Frederick County.
Senior Services Division offices will remain open and staff are available to answer questions at 301-600-1234.
Two ways to register for special activities and fitness classes:
1. At the Senior Services Division’s eStore 24/7 using a Visa card, MasterCard, or Discover card.
2. In person at the 50+ community center during normal business hours.
All new participants must complete a Participant Registration/Information Form.
