Bidder Information & Registration

The 2016 Frederick County Tax Sale is scheduled for Monday, May 9.  NEW THIS YEAR:  All payments, including the registration fee and total amounts due for winning bids, will be automatically debited from the bank account provided at registration.  The sale will be a sealed bid auction using the high bid premium method.  In order to register, bidders must complete and sign the Tax Sale Information and Procedures, ACH Form, and W9 (see links below).  The completed documents should be sent to the Treasury Department via mail or fax (301-600-2347).  Links to the Tax Sale Notice and Frequently Asked Questions are also below.  Please be sure to review all documents and contact the Treasury Department with any questions.  After registration, all communications and activities regarding the Tax Sale, including the submission of bids, must be done via the email address taxsale@frederickcountymd.gov
