On Monday, January 21, the Department of Solid Waste Management facilities (transfer station and recycling drop-off center) will be open, normal business hours, 7am -4:30pm. The administrative offices will be closed in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Frederick County Department of Solid Waste Management operates the Reichs Ford Road Sanitary Landfill, which is accessible to businesses and residents for the disposal of waste generated in Frederick County only.
All transactions require a driver's license.
For customers with an out-of-county driver's license, proof of the address in Frederick County where waste was generated is required (such as a utility bill, tax bill, lease agreement, etc.)
All customers without an existing account must pay for transactions at time of service.
Acceptable forms of payment are personal/business checks, cashiers check, money order, cash, Discover, Visa, or Master Cards.
