Early Voting

Not sure you'll be able to make it to your polling place on Election Day? Or perhaps you have plans to be out of town on Election Day?

You have two alternatives available to you for voting: you can request an absentee ballot OR you can participate in Early Voting. Registered Voters in Frederick County are allowed to vote early prior to each Primary and General Election.

Early Voting is held on eight days before Election Day, and, in Frederick County, we have four Early Voting Centers -- you may stop in at any of the Early Voting Centers and cast your ballot in person during the early voting period.

Early Voting for the 2020 Maryland Presidential Primary Election is Thursday, April 16, 2020 through Thursday, April 23, 2020, including Saturday and Sunday. During the Primary Election, all Early Voting locations are open 10 am-8 pm, daily.

Early Voting for the 2020 Maryland Presidential General Election is Thursday, October 22, 2020 through Thursday, October 29, 2020, including Saturday and Sunday. During the General Election, all Early Voting locations are open 8 am-8 pm, daily.
