Early Voting

Not sure you'll be able to make it to your polling place on Election Day?

You have two alternatives available to you for voting: you can request a mail-in ballot (@ Maryland State Board of Elections) OR you can vote in-person at Early Voting. Registered Voters in Frederick County are allowed to vote early prior to each Primary and General Election.

Early Voting is held on eight days before Election Day, and, in Frederick County, we have four Early Voting Centers -- you may stop in at any of the Early Voting Centers and cast your ballot in person during the early voting period.

Early Voting for the 2022 Maryland Gubernatorial Primary Election is Thursday, July 7 through Thursday, July 14, 2022, including Saturday and Sunday. During the Primary Election, all Early Voting locations are open 7 am-8 pm, daily.

Find out more about ALL of your options to vote at our "Make a Plan to Vote" page.
