Early Voting

Not sure you'll be able to make it to your polling place on Election Day? Or perhaps you have plans to be out of town on Election Day?

You have two alternatives available to you for voting: (1) you can request a mail-in ballot or (2) you can vote during the Early Voting period.

Information on Mail-In Ballots

  1. Request a ballot online @ Maryland State Board of Elections; call 301-600-VOTE (8683); or email ElectionBoard@FrederickCountyMD.gov with your request.
  2. Fill out your ballot in the privacy of your home.
  3. Return the ballot in the provided envelope via mail or drop box. Locations will be listed on this page.
