The Senior Services Division will be phasing in the opening of County-operated senior centers over time, based on the guidance of Frederick County public health experts. At this time, we are not processing new volunteer applications. However, if you would still like to apply, the Volunteer Coordinator will respond to you once we have fully resumed the volunteer program.

Volunteer Positions Each opportunity listed in the Volunteer Opportunity Directory provides a brief description of position duties, qualifications, suggested time commitment, and the location of the assignment. Training is provided for all positions.

Current Volunteers The VicNet Volunteer Portal is the Frederick County Senior Services site where current volunteers can access their schedule, update their contact information, and view their service history.
