Permitting and Inspections Outreach Meetings

***NEW: Planning and Permitting eServices Training

The Division of Planning and Permitting (DPP) will begin offering training on the recently implemented Land Management Software system which is now used to process building permits, trade licenses and permits, site plans and other land development applications.

Classes will be held every Monday morning at 9:00 am in the basement training room at our offices at 30 North Market Street.

The training is available to provide an overview of DPP eServices, system requirements, assistance in account setup (for both portal and eplans), on-line application, data search/communications, on-line payment, inspection requests/communications and general Q & A with staff.

Registration is not necessary for the training however we ask that you arrive and be ready to go by 9:00 am as the training will begin promptly. Feel free to bring your own laptop or other electronic device if you feel that would be helpful.

Initially, the first few weeks of training will be focused primarily, as follows:

  • February 3, 2020 – general focus on permitting training including account setup
  • February 10, 2020 – general focus on permitting training including account setup
  • Feb 17, 2020 – general focus on planning and project training including account setup
  • Future weeks – TBD and as needed

Regular Outreach Meetings

Outreach meetings for Permitting and Inspections are held quarterly to facilitate communication and information sharing between the development community, builders, trades, other related organizations and County staff members.  These meetings provide a forum to share new and updated information on services, procedures, regulations and other related permitting items.
