11/18/2021: Earlier this week, Maryland Department of Health (MDH) adjusted the state’s COVID-19 vaccine data to update the number of boosters that were initially labeled as second doses. MDH identified the booster doses through a routine reconciliation process and has revised the logic that misclassified the doses.

Note: The numbers above reflect vaccinations for all Frederick County residents. Our Vaccine webpage shows just the amount of first doses of COVID-19 vaccine received by the Frederick County Health Department. County residents are being vaccinated by vaccinators across the state, which is why the number of people vaccinated exceeds the amount of vaccine the Frederick County Health Department has received.

Percent of population vaccinated is calculated based on total population, not population eligible to be vaccinated. ZIP code data is capped when values exceed 100% and are suppressed if vaccination total is less than 7; ZIP code data is updated once weekly on Wednesdays. "Received at least one dose" represents the total number of people who received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, including those who received one dose of the single-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. "Fully vaccinated" represents the number of people who have received the second dose in a two-dose vaccine series or one dose of the single-shot COVID-19 vaccine.
