YIMBY is an acronym that stands for "Yes In My Backyard."  It describes advocates who support affordable housing development as a response to the outcomes of restrictive zoning and planning policies.

YIMBY Maryland is a mix of long-time residents and newcomers, renters and homeowners, business owners and employees, families and individuals, citizens and immigrants, commuters, bus riders, cyclists and pedestrians who want a more affordable and sustainable Maryland.
