  • Access to Mental Health Services
    • A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on August 30, 2023, for Frederick County’s crisis stabilization center, the first facility of its kind in Maryland,which will provide 24/7 trauma responsive, low-barrier, voluntary care and recovery-oriented services. The County Executive and County Council expanded the mobile crisis team and the mobile community healthcare units and funded the crisis stabilization center in the FY2024 budget.

    • The Health Services Division conducted a Black Maternal Health Disparity Study and is engaging the community to develop solutions.
