Electronics must be brought through the main facility entrance for recycling.
There is a fee of $0.69 per 20 pounds of material being dropped off, if paid by cash or check. If paid by Visa, Mastercard or Discover, the fee is $.76 per 20 pounds of electronics being recycled.
Acceptable Items Include:
all computer components and accessories, including:
keyboards & mice
routers & modems
circuit boards, chips, cards
power supplies, computer batteries
cables and cords
copiers, scanners and printers
fax machines and telephones (including mobile phones)
radios, stereos, CD and tape players
electronic game systems
DVD/BluRay and VCR players
digital music players (iPods, etc.)
We are unable to provide a certificate of destruction for secure data.)

Frederick County residents can drop off their old electronics to be recycled - FREE OF CHARGE!
All items regularly accepted for e-cycling will be collected at this event. With the exception of televisions and monitors, there is no quantity limit for materials brought from residential households. Please note:
This is a residential event; materials from commercial sources or on business vehicles will not be accepted.
Your driver’s license will be used for proof of Frederick County residency.
A limit of 2 televisions and/or monitors will be accepted per residence.
