Housing Element
The Housing Element is a functional planning document intended to assist the County in addressing housing needs, particularly affordable housing for low-income and workforce households. The goals of the Housing Element include reducing residential segregation, increasing housing choice, and increasing access to job and educational opportunities. The plan will consider critical factors that influence housing in our community such as costs, supply, projected population changes, housing types, nearby services and amenities, and livability. The Housing Element may recommend changes to land use and zoning designations, as well as regulatory tools or incentives.
