On October 18, 2016, Culler Lake in Frederick was reopened to the public in Baker Park. It features a new fountain in the middle, two floating fountains on both sides, gravel and floating wetlands, reconstructed pond walls, a fish habitat, new lighting features, and a new shared use path around the lake. In attendance were several members of the public including County Executive Jan Gardner, Council Member Keegan-Ayer, Frederick City Mayor Randy McClement, and Frederick City Alderman Kelly Russell.
