During Fiscal Year (FY) 2022, County funds were used to acquire the Prospect Center property. In the following FY, a formal Capital Improvement Program project was established. As studies were completed and preliminary designs began, additional funding was set aside for the new Microgrid, or transferred from other projects such as the Division of Emergency Management and Department of Facility Maintenance projects.
Because of the size of the Prospect Center, construction will be partially funded from FY 2024 through FY 2028.
