Amanda Radcliffe, Chief of the Office of Project Management in the Frederick County Division of Public Works, was recently awarded the 2025 Meritorious Service Award by the County Engineers Association of Maryland (CEAM).
“I am incredibly proud of the work that our staff does every day for the people of Frederick County,” said County Executive Jessica Fitzwater. “Amanda’s exceptional leadership, knowledge, and dedication help to make Frederick County a place where everyone can thrive.”
The prestigious Meritorious Service Award recognizes Amanda’s dedication and service to Frederick County, the State of Maryland, and the County Engineers Association of Maryland. She has been a member of CEAM since 2011, has served on the Board of Directors, and is currently co-chair of the CEAM Membership Committee.
Amanda joined Frederick County Government in 2006. During her time with the County, Amanda has managed various Capital Improvement Program projects and has overseen the County’s Bridge Management Program. She currently serves as Chief of the Office of Project Management in the Division of Public Works.
In this role, Amanda oversees the development and execution of Capital Improvement Program projects for County facilities such as building renovations, parks, trails, stream restoration, and stormwater retrofit projects. She works closely with both external and internal stakeholders and agencies to ensure projects are completed and turned over to the user agencies.
The Meritorious Service Award was presented to Amanda at the 2025 CEAM Fall Conference in September.
