The legislative affairs program of County Executive Jessica Fitzwater works to identify and monitor bills of interest to the citizens of Frederick County, drafting legislation and providing public testimony before the General Assembly in Annapolis.
Under Charter Government, it is the County Executive's role to advance the legislative priorities of the county. She values open government and community participation, and encourages citizens to provide input and feedback in the legislative process.
County Executive Fitzwater will hold a Legislative Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, October 5 at 6 p.m.
Frederick County provides a venue for the Frederick County Delegation's annual meeting at Winchester Hall, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, at 10 a.m. The public is welcome to attend.
