Legislative Affairs


The legislative affairs program of County Executive Jan Gardner works to identify and monitor bills of interest to the citizens of Frederick County, drafting legislation and providing public testimony before the General Assembly in Annapolis.

Under Charter Government, it is the County Executive's role to advance the legislative priorities of the county.  She values open government and community participation, and encourages citizens to provide input and feedback in the legislative process.
