SheLEADS

The Commission for Women created the SheLEADS program to help students learn how they can have an impact serving their community. We hold workshops on different leadership styles and strategies, and discuss how students can leverage their individual strengths and resources, set goals, and turn their interests into actions. We also take the students to a statewide conference where they participate in an emerging leaders program. Applications for nominations are solicited each fall and are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. For more information, please contact cfw@frederickcountymd.gov.
