An informational drug awareness meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Oakdale High School, 5850 Eaglehead Drive, Ijamsville, MD. The Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force will be on hand to display drug paraphernalia and to collect unused and expired prescription drugs beginning at 6:30 pm in the school lobby. Frederick County drug and mental health professionals will provide information on drug awareness programs and will be available to answer questions and educate the public about community resources. The formal program will begin at 7:00 pm.
