In response to feedback from the public, Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner presented the citizens of Frederick County with a fiscally responsible budget that prioritizes education and safe communities, values people and includes no tax rate increases.
“The budget is the most important task we do together as a community. The budget reflects our values and priorities,” commented Executive Gardner. “Open, transparent, and participatory government is fundamental to good government. That’s why my budget is a result of a great deal of time listening to citizens and leaders in the county departments and divisions. I am thankful for everyone’s input and I believe this budget ensures a very bright future for Frederick County.”
