[ARCHIVED] Ijamsville Road to Have Temporary Lane Closures with Flagging Operations

The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering announced that weather permitting, there will be temporary single-lane closures using flaggers starting Monday, April 16, 2018 on Ijamsville Road from MD 144 Old National Pike to Reichs Ford Road for several weeks.

The contractor, CJ Miller, LLC, will be placing surface pavement and permanent striping.  Once this is accomplished, the contractor will be doing minor shoulder restoration work and seeding to finally complete the project.

Frederick County and the contractor will make every effort to minimize traffic delays during this time; however, delays are anticipated during flagging operations and motorists are encouraged to utilize alternative routes.
